5 Day Safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Serengeti after 7 TK Lemosho Climb
This safari itinerary is recommended from November to April when we expect the migration to be in the south.
Safari
Day before safari: Optional: if requested, your safari driver will come to your hotel at 1800 - 1900 (depending on what time you return from your climb) to brief you about the next few days' events and to answer any questions you may have about safari arrangements.
Day 1: Your driver will collect you from your hotel at around 0900. Transfer to Tarangire National Park for game drive. Overnight within the national park at Nasikia Ndovu Tented Camp.
Day 2: Morning game drive in Tarangire National Park. Transfer via Ngorongoro Conservation Area to central Serengeti. Game drives in Seronera Region. Overnight at Naona Moru Tented Camp.
Day 3: Morning game drives in the Seronera Region of Serengeti in search of the Serengeti's permanent predator population. Afternoon transfer to Lake Ndutu area for overnight at Nasikia Mobile Migration Camp.
Day 4: All day game drives in the heart of the Migration (assuming expected game movements) within the Ndutu Region of northern Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Overnight at Nasikia Mobile Migration Camp.
Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater for game drive. Afternoon transfer to Arusha for overnight, or - if you have a late evening flight booked - direct to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
Note: earliest realistic arrival time to the airport would be 1500, however, 1700 would be preferable so as not to excise any game viewing. If wanting to shower and relax and possibly get some refreshments before the flight, a day room may be available at KIA Lodge for USD 126 per room. The lodge is situated just 5 minutes from the airport.
Day after safari: If your flight is a morning or afternoon flight, transfer from Arusha to JRO for homebound flight.
