7 Day Climb & 4 Day Safari to Tarangire, Lake Ndutu & Ngorongoro Crater
This safari itinerary is recommended from November to April when we expect the Migration to be in the Ndutu area of southern Serengeti / northern Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
24th December 2022: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
Once you have completed customs formalities and collected your luggage, please exit the airport building and then look out for our driver who should be wearing a black Team Kilimanjaro t-shirt and carrying a placard with your name on it, who will be waiting under a shelter for you at the meeting point outside. Our driver will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha (own booking) for your overnight stay.
Your chief guide will come to your hotel for your pre-climb briefing at approximately 1800, during which he will introduce himself, brief you on everything that will be happening throughout the duration of the climb, check any kit that you may have concerns over, issue any kit hire items that have been requested and he will also deal with any final pre-climb administration and answer any questions you may have.
25th December 2022: Your mountain guide and supporting crew will collect you from your hotel at approximately 0730 to transfer you to Kilimanjaro's Lemosho Gate to start your open 7 day TK Lemosho ‘Advantage Series’ climb, finishing on 31st December 2022.

31st December 2022: We will collect you from Mweka Village when you finish your climb and will return you to your hotel in Arusha (own booking) for your overnight stay.
Optional: if requested, your safari guide will come to your hotel for your pre-climb briefing at approximately 1800, during which he will introduce himself, brief you on everything that will be happening during the safari, and answer any questions you may have.
1st January 2023: Collected by your safari guide at around 0730 and transferred to Tarangire National Park for game drive. Transfer to Tarangire Nimali for dinner and overnight.
2nd January 2023: Morning transfer to Lake Ndutu area of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for game drive within the heart of the Wildebeest Migration. Late afternoon return to Ngorongoro Crater rim for overnight at AndBeyond’s Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.
3rd January 2023: Early morning descent into Ngorongoro Crater for full day game drive. Late afternoon transfer to AndBeyond’s Ngorongoro Crater Lodge for dinner and second overnight.
4th January 2023: Morning, optional visit to a Maasai boma / Olduvai Gorge / The Shifting Sands. Afternoon transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for flight to Zanzibar at 1940.
