9 Day TK Lemosho Climb - Excel Series With a 5 Day Safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti & Lake Manyara

This safari itinerary is recommended from May to June when we expect the Migration to be in the Grumeti region of Serengeti.

Arrival

20th May 2023: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) at 1310 on flight ET 815.

Once you have completed customs formalities and collected your luggage, please exit the airport building and then look out for our driver who should be wearing a black Team Kilimanjaro t-shirt and carrying a placard with your name on it, who will be waiting under a shelter for you at the meeting point outside. Our driver will transfer you to The Outpost Lodge for your overnight stay.

Kilimanjaro

21st May 2023: Your mountain guide and supporting crew will collect you from your hotel at approximately 0730 to transfer you to Kilimanjaro's Lemosho Gate to start your open 9 Day TK Lemosho ‘Excel Series’ climb, finishing on 29th May 2023.

29th May 2023: We will collect you from Mweka Village when you finish your climb and will return you to The Outpost Lodge for your overnight stay.

Optional: If requested, your safari guide will come to The Outpost Lodge at approximately 1800, during which he will introduce himself, brief you on everything that will be happening during the safari, and answer any questions you may have.

Safari

30th May 2023: Your Safari guide will collect you from The Outpost Lodge in Arusha at approximately 0845 for transfer to Tarangire National Park for game drive. Late afternoon transfer to Mawe Baobab Tented Camp for your overnight stay.

31st May 2023: Early morning game drive within Tarangire National Park. Late afternoon transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for your overnight stay at Ngorongoro Kuhama Camp.

1st June 2023: Early morning descent into Ngorongoro Crater for full day game drive in hopes of witnessing the Big 5. In Africa, the Big Five is made up of the lion, rhinoceros, leopards, elephant and Cape buffalo. All of these animals are viewable within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, including the crater and are protected thanks to the wildlife conservation efforts of Tanzania.

Afternoon transfer to Seronera Region in central Serengeti with game drive en route to Mawe's Serengeti Tented Camp for your overnight.

2nd June 2023: Morning game drives in Seronera region in search of the permanent predator population. Afternoon transfer to Marera View Lodge in Karatu for your overnight stay.

3rd June 2023: Morning game drives within Lake Manyara. Late morning transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departing flight ET 814 at 1720.
