7 day TK Lemosho Climb & 5 Day Safari to Tarangire, Eyasi, Ngorongoro & Serengeti
Saturday 12th June 2021: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International (JRO) airport at 1430.
Once you have completed customs formalities and collected your luggage, please exit the airport building and then look out for TK's driver who will be waiting under a shelter for you at the meeting point outside and should be carrying a placard with your name on it. Our driver will transfer you to your standard grade hotel in Arusha for your overnight stay in a double room on a bed & breakfast basis.
Your mountain guide will come to your hotel for your pre-climb briefing at approximately 1800, during which he will introduce himself, brief you on everything that will be happening throughout the duration of the climb, check any kit that you may have concerns over, issue any kit hire items that have been requested (if you hire any kit from us for your climb) and he will also deal with any final pre-climb administration and answer any questions you may have.
Kilimanjaro
Sunday 13th June 2021: Your mountain guide and supporting crew will collect you from your hotel at approximately 0730 to transfer you to Mount Kilimanjaro to start your open 7 day TK Lemosho βAdvantage Seriesβ climb, finishing on 19th June 2021.
Saturday 19th June 2021: We will collect you from Mweka Village when you finish your climb and will return you to The Outpost Lodge in Arusha for your overnight stay on bed & breakfast basis.
Safari
Your safari guide will come to your hotel at approximately 1800 to introduce himself, answer any questions you have, and complete your pre-safari briefing.
Sunday 20th June 2021: Your safari guide will collect you from your hotel at approximately 0730 to start your safari. Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. Afternoon transfer to the Lake Eyasi area. Overnight at Tindiga Tented Camp.
Monday 21st June 2021: Met by specialist Eyasi guide. Early morning hunt with the Bushmen, with tuition in survival skills.
Please note that that it is usual to tip the Eyasi guide. Typical tip amounts are around USD 20 per person in the safari group.
Afternoon transfer to Marera View Lodge for overnight.
Tuesday 22nd June 2021: After an early breakfast, descend into Crater for game drive. Afternoon transfer to Ikoma Tented Camp with game drive en route.
Wednesday 23rd June: All day game drives in Seronera in search of the permanent predator population and Wildebeest Migration. Overnight at Ikoma Tented Camp.
Thursday 24th June: Morning game drives in Serengeti. Afternoon transfer to KIA Lodge, beside Kilimanjaro International Airport for overnight.
Friday 25th June 2021: After breakfast, transfer with KIA Lodge Driver at around 0800 to JRO for departure to Zanzibar at 0950.
Please note that as at April 2021 the road in Lake Manyara is flooded and game viewing is currently not advised within this park.
