MABO Itinerary
Arrival
15th May 2022 - Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Once you have passed through passport control and retrieved your luggage, please exit the main Arrivals doors and our driver should be waiting in front of you wearing a black Team Kilimanjaro T-shirt with white logo, and carrying a placard with your name on it. He will transfer you around 45 - 60 minutes to The Outpost Lodge.
Mount Meru
16th May 2022: Collected from your hotel at 0730 and transferred to Arusha National Park for registration. After collecting a ranger, we drive to the viewpoint to begin our trek through rainforest into the the heart of the collapsed crater. After lunch we proceed to Miriakamba Hut for overnight at 2541m.
17th May 2022: After breakfast, morning ascent of Little Meru 3820m for acclimatisation. Descend to Saddle Hut for overnight at 3,564m.
18th May 2022: Midnight departure for the summit at 4566m. Descend to Miriakamba Hut for refreshments. Continue descent to vehicle collection point for return to Outpost Lodge in Arusha.
Kilimanjaro
19th May 2022: Please be ready to be collected from The Outpost Lodge after breakfast at 0730.

Departure
25th May 2022: Please be ready to be collected from The Outpost Lodge 4 hours before your departing flight.
