6 Day Safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Serengeti with Flight
This safari is recommended from June to October, when the Wildebeest Migration is in Northern Serengeti.
Safari
Day before safari: Optional - Your safari guide will come to your hotel at approximately 1800 to introduce himself, complete your pre-safari briefing and answer any questions you may have.
Day 1: Your safari guide will collect you from your hotel in Arusha at approximately 0845 to start your safari. Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire for an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge.
Day 2: Morning game drive in Tarangire National Park. Afternoon transfer to Ngorongoro Crater rim for overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.
Day 3: Early morning descent into Ngorongoro Crater for game drive. Afternoon transfer to Naona Moru Camp for overnight.
Day 4: Morning game drives in Seronera in search of the permanent predator population. Afternoon transfer to Nasikia's Migration Tented Camp for overnight.
Day 5: Having reached so far north within the Serengeti and in the heart of the Wildebeest Migration we take advantage of having a full day in the most densely populated game viewing area in the world, and will aim to witness what is usually felt to be the most dramatic event in the safari calendar - the Wildebeest Crossing of the Mara River. Overnight at Nasikia's Migration Tented Camp.
Day 6: Morning game drives along the Mara River area. Afternoon transfer to Kogatende airstrip for flight at 1455 to Arusha, arriving at 1820. Met by driver at Arusha Airport and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.
