7 Day Safari to Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire & Lake Manyara with flight
This safari itinerary is recommended for the discerning traveller visiting from July to October - as this is when the migration is expected to be in the Mara Region - and who wants to minimise wasted transiting time in the vehicle.
Arrival
4th October 2022: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) at 1830 on fight WK 76.
Once you have completed customs formalities and collected your luggage, please exit the airport building and then look out for our driver who should be wearing a black Team Kilimanjaro t-shirt and carrying a placard with your name on it, who will be waiting under a shelter for you at the meeting point outside. Our driver will transfer you to Machweo for your overnight.
Safari
5th October 2022: Your driver will come to Machweo at 0900 and transfer you to Arusha Airport (ARK) for your 1045 flight to Seronera (SEU), arriving at 1215.
You will be met by your safari guide at Seronera airstrip at 1215 for afternoon game drives within the Seronera region. Overnight at Pumzika Luxury Safari Camp.
6th October 2022: All day game drives within the Serengeti region in pursuit of the permanent predator population, and a currently copious array of wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, elephants and many other game. Late afternoon return to Pumzika Luxury Safari Camp for overnight.
7th October 2022: Early morning game drive in Serengeti. Late afternoon transfer to Ngorongoro Crater for your first night's stay at Pakulala Luxury Camp.
8th October 2022: Early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. Return to Pakulala Luxury Camp for your overnight stay.
9th October 2022: Morning transfer to central Tarangire with game drive en route to Oliver's Camp by Asilia Camps for your first night.
10th October 2022: Full day of game drives in Tarangire with a late afternoon return to Oliver's Camp by Asilia Camps for your second overnight stay.
11th October 2022: Transfer to Lake Manyara for game drive. Later afternoon transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport in time to check-in for your departing flight at 2000 on flight WK 76.
