3 Day Mount Meru Climb
Mount Meru
1st August 2022: You'll be met by your Team Kilimanjaro driver and mountain guide when your flight arrives at ARK at 0840. Transferred around 1 hour 30 minutes to Arusha National Park for registration at Momella Gate. After collecting a ranger, we drive to the viewpoint to begin our trek through rainforest into the the heart of the collapsed crater. After lunch we proceed to Miriakamba Hut for overnight at 2541m.
2nd August 2022: After breakfast, morning ascent of Little Meru 3820m for acclimatisation. Descend to Saddle Hut for overnight at 3,564m.
3rd August 2022: Midnight departure for the summit at 4566m. Descend to Miriakamba Hut for refreshments. Continue descent to vehicle collection point for return to your hotel in Arusha for overnight.
